This pictoral Campus Tour gives you a visual of some of the buildings on the Nananimo Campus, and may help to navigate your self around the campus. Please take part in a live campus tour during Orientation.

Tips for finding your courses

  • When new to VIU, use a map or join an orientation to familiarize yourself with the campus.
  • At the beginning of the year, the campus hosts tours of the campus. For more information contact student support services at (250) 740-6410.
  • Print out your your class schedule from your student record and make sure you are able to get from class to class on time.
  • The campus appears large, but it takes roughly fifteen minutes to get from one end to the other on foot. Most faculty let their classes out ten minutes early to allow for time to get to your next class. (One hour classes are 50 minutes, 1 1/2 hour classes are an hour and twenty minutes etc).
