Explore the possibility of doing an internship or co-op work term.
Departments that currently support students to do an Internship or Co-op placement in Canada or overseas include: Recreation, Tourism, Hospitality, Criminology, Physical Education, Business (MGMT 499, MGMT 381, MGMT 482), and Global Studies (GLST 380 and 381).
The following programs have yearly or almost yearly study tour (shorter than study abroad) opportunities for their students: Horticulture, Early Childhood Education, Global Studies, Liberal Studies, Biology, Aqua-culture and Business, Education, Nursing. More are added each year.
Talk about possibilities for your future with an Education Counsellor while getting information on what steps are required to fulfill that goal. They can also help you map out an Educational Plan.
