assignments. Her experience in education and office practices includes
18 years in adult education in face-to-face and online instruction,
technical writing, and instructional design. She has a keen interest in
implementing professional development programming that assists all
employees to use technologies effectively. |

Sarah de JagerProject Assistant4 days per weekSarah.deJager@viu.ca Sarah has been a part of the VIU family for seven years. As a certified facilitator for Instructional Skills Workshops, Sarah provides project management for a wide range of VIU TLC, provincial, national, and international initiatives. She also plans and manages workshops, institutes, and events. Sarah supports Teaching Scholar projects, is editor and designer of the VIU Learning Matters Newsletter, designs technology presentations and materials, and develops and maintains web pages. |

His current interests include educational webcasting, using Web 2.0 tools to encourage collaboration and life-long learning within and among academic communities, and promoting sustainability within curricula and on campus. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Environment and Management as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and Education. |

Sabrina WaitEducational Technology Assistant3 days per weekSabrina.Wait@viu.ca Sabrina works three days a week with the VIU Teaching & Learning Centre. She provides administrative support essential to the delievery of the centre's programs and develops and maintains resources and web pages. Sabrina oversees the VIU TLC Tech Lab (B305 R450), where she assists employees in the use of Microsoft Office programs and other software applications pertaining to teaching and learning. |
