Telephone Support

If you are experiencing issues with your phone please contact your department TSR User. The information you should provide them includes:
  • your building and room number
  • local
  • mailbox number (if different than your local)
  • your cost centre
  • a detailed description of the problem

The following are occasions when you may need to contact your department TSR User.

  • Ordering a new phone set for use on Nanaimo campus
  • Repairs to telephone equipment
  • Requests for used phone sets or parts
  • Problems with the phone lines. For example:
    • Dead lines
    • Static
    • Caller can't dial out
  • Voicemail password resets
  • New voicemail box
  • New locals
  • New employee or employee leaving
  • Telephone moves
  • Phone sets for campuses other than Nanaimo
  • Changes to Call Display (max 22 characters)
  • Long Distance Codes
  • Changes to Phone trees
  • Updates to cost centres for billing
  • Changing from an analog to a digital phone line (or the reverse)
