All student access computers on campus are connected to VIU's high-speed Internet service. The University's Internet Service Provider is PLNet (Provincial Learning Network.)
If you have your own laptop computer, you can connect to wireless networks on campus. In addition, data ports are available along the walls of the Malaspina Commons and the 3rd floor of the Library (Bldg. 305). There are no data ports available on the 4th floor of the Library. Network cables may be borrowed at the Service Desk with your student ID card.
To access our wired and wireless networks, you must be a currently enrolled student with a student discovery account or an employee with a capitan account.
