Internet Access Stations

There are 9 Internet Access stations in the Malaspina Commons, 10 in the Library near the Reference Desk, and 2 in the Library Stacks (4th floor.) You can print from all Internet Access stations. There is no access to Discovery accounts on these workstations. All run the Windows XP operating system and the following software:

  • Internet Explorer (web browsing)
  • Mozilla Firefox (web browsing)
  • Adobe Reader (viewing PDF documents)
  • CRT (terminal emulation)
  • WS-FTP (Internet file transfer)
  • Free Zip (file compression)
  • QuickTime (movies, sound)
  • RealPlayer (movies, sound)
  • Windows Media Player (movies, sound)
  • WinAmp (sound)
  • Norton AntiVirus

Need to use Microsoft Office software or access your Discovery account? Use our Productivity stations. Students and employees may also use the bookable Media stations for scanning, image editing, desktop publishing, web authoring and accessing memory cards.
