Corel Paint Shop Pro 8 is available on the Media stations in the Malaspina Commons.
Paint Shop Pro can be used to edit and manipulate digital images in many ways, including correcting colour and contrast, resizing, cropping, retouching, and adding or taking away elements in an image. The program supports batch file format conversions. Creation of animation is possible as well through Animation Shop.
An "Intuos3" drawing tablet may be borrowed from the Library Service Desk and used to draw, sketch, or write directly into Paint Shop Pro using the accompanying pen or mouse. The tablet may be borrowed for 4 hours at a time by VIU Students and employees (no renewals), and may be taken out of the library. Present your Employee or Student ID card at the Library Service Desk, and quote the tablet's call number, "LTABLET", to borrow the tablet. Instructions are included in the tablet package.
