Scanning Stations
There are 8 workstations with Epson Perfection 2480 flatbed scanners in the Library near the Reference Desk. You can use the flatbed scanners to scan print images (such as photos), text (such as a printed essay you'd like to convert into text you can edit in Word), and, using an adapter, slides and negative film. You will need a Discovery account to use the Scanning stations.
The Scanning stations feature productivity software designed to support course work. Use them for activities such as word processing (e.g. typing and printing essays), presentations, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, database design and management, and Internet access.
You can print from all Scanning stations.
