4. ASTEC (Bldg 180) 
The five-storey Applied Studies Training and Educational Centre (ASTEC) houses VIU's Faculty of Health & Human Services and programs such as Nursing and Dental Assisting, Child and Youth Care, Early Childhood Education & Care. The centre also contains administrative offices for the Faculty of Trades & Applied Technology, and Information Technology and Applied Business Technology programs.
