Cowichan Family Caregivers Support Society

Supporting Family Caregivers in Ladysmith Program is dedicated to the whole care giving journey (which can last many years) or that builds circles and offers a support group for all family caregivers in the Ladysmith area.

Cowichan Valley Hospice Society

Bereavement Programs include one-on-one and drop-in support for those in need. Palliative Care is available in the home in partnership with healthcare providers, or at Cowichan District Hospital and the Cowichan Lodge.

Nanaimo Community Hospice Society

Grief Support Programs for children, teens and adults recognize the unique ways people experience grieve. Palliative Support is provided based on individual needs in the least intrusive and disruptive way.

The Senior Peer Counselling Program provides counselling and support to alleviate loneliness and isolation of seniors who are 55 years and older.

People for a Healthy Community on Gabriola

The Dragon Garden Program gives seniors a place to socialize, grow food and enjoy some exercise.
