The Vice-President, Administration and Finance (VPAF) is a member of the Executive Council and the Chief Financial Officer at Vancouver Island University (VIU). The Vice-President provides advice and assistance to the governing bodies of VIU, its subsidiaries, and their respective committees including Senate, Board of Governors, Foundation Board, and Milner Gardens Board.

The Vice-President leads a varied portfolio that includes financial, human resources, computing systems and technology, facility services, campus planning, sustainability and business operations. The Vice-President is responsible, through department directors, for the overall quality of services, meeting legal and reporting requirement within the portfolio areas, deploying resources, and planning improvements that enhance the University's ability to achieve its Mission.
