BOAT 112T Gas Metal Arc Welding - Theory

A study of Gas Metal Arc Welding safety and practices. (0.75:0:0 for 30 weeks)

Prerequisite: Admission to the program.

BOAT 113T Gas Metal Arc Welding - Practical

Practical application of metal arc welding safety, processes, and practicese. (0:0:2.5 for 30 weeks)

BOAT 120T Aluminum Welding

The study and practice of using aluminum welding equipment, consumables, and techniques. (0:0:6.36 for 30 weeks)

BOAT 130T Aluminum Fabrication

The study and practice of basic measuring, layout, hand and power tools, metal working equipment, aluminum fabrication techniques, and a study of aluminum repairs. (0:0:4.25 for 30 weeks)

BOAT 140T Aluminum Boat Assembly

A study of propulsion systems and controls, fuel systems, electrical systems, insulation and aluminum painting systems related to aluminum boat building. A study and practice of using fasteners and fittings related to aluminum boat building, and assembling an aluminum boat. (0:0:6.36 for 30 weeks)
