Tea is served

tea roomAfternoon Tea is served with assorted baked goods and freshly baked scones, served with jam (made with fruit from the garden) every day from 1 to 4 p.m. when the Gardens are open. The Camellia Tea Room is located in the drawing room of the historic Milner House. No reservations are required, except for large groups.

Luncheon

Large or small group luncheons may be booked by prior arrangement only by calling 250-752-8573 extension 224 or by email: carol.milnergardens@shaw.ca.

We are easily able to accommodate bus tour groups who would like a quick luncheon along with their Garden tour. Please book ahead.

Murder Mystery Teas

Come and enjoy an afternoon of food, fun and intrigue, with your group of friends by participating in one of our Murder Mystery Teas. All it takes is a group of eight people who are willing to take on an easy role as one of the characters and as many others who would like to attend. A luncheon of fancy sandwiches, scones with Devon Cream and other goodies, is served on three tiered platters along with tea in bone china cups. Of course, there will be a prize offered for some lucky person.

Plant Sales

The Plant Sales area is open from 10 am to 5 pm every day the garden is open.

Take home a piece of history by purchasing a plant propagated from the unique living collection at Milner Gardens & Woodland. The Plant Sales area offers a great selection of perennials, trees and shrubs, and native plants.

Plants have been propagated by a dedicated group of volunteers and all proceeds raised help support the operation of the garden. Volunteers are happy to assist you in picking out the perfect plant for you to take home to your garden. Members receive 10% discount on all plant purchases.

Be sure to check out the special events section and take note of our next spring or fall plant sale fundraiser. It is a great opportunity to pick up some fabulous plants at terrific prices and support this beautiful island gem - Milner Gardens & Woodland.

The Gift Shop

The Pool House Gift Shop is open from 10 am to 5 pm each day during the season. You may browse through our good selection of garden-related ornaments, books, cards, stationary and souvenirs. Refreshments and light snacks are available. There is outdoor seating capacity for 45 people on the deck and by the pool.
