Co-operative Education

At present this program is open to students in the departments of Recreation Administration, Recreation and Sport Management, Tourism Studies, Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Tourism Management, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, and Culinary Arts, but we are working on expansion to include many other departments.

Our mission is to break the "no experience without a job, no job without experience" cycle. Our program can match you with meaningful work in your field during your time at VIU. Co-op Education offers full-time, paid, career-related employment to enhance your full-time study experience.
