Welcome to GrandKids University 2012! A hearfelt thank you to those of you who have participated in this exciting program in the past, and a warm welcome to those of you are joining us for the first time!
Register soon as spaces are limited.

Vancouver Island University has an amazing resource right on site - the faculty. They have experience teaching, expertise in their field, and a passion that they want to share with you and your grandchild this summer.

Join us for two days, earn a "degree" in one of the majors, and create lasting memories that will last a lifetime.  Do something out of the ordinary this summer - take your grandkids to university!

Over the course of two fun-filled days,
grandkids (for kids ages 7 – 12) and their grandparents will:

  • Share hands-on learning activities
  • Earn a "degree" in one of the offered majors
  • Attend a BBQ and take part in evening recreation
  • Stay together in the Student Residences on campus
  • Enjoy time together and create lasting memories!

Exciting Moments From Past Years Sessions

TUITION FEE OF $115 + HST per participant includes all major activities, materials, a program T-shirt and the Wednesday night BBQ. Participants are responsible for all meals except the BBQ. All grandkids must be accompanied by a grandparent or favourite adult, and adults must be accompanied by a child to register.
Maximum two children per adult.

RECOMMENDED: Enhance your on-campus experience by staying in the student residences - just $35 + HST per person per night single occupancy or $45 + HST per room to share. Grandkids are paired with grandparents in the rooms and free evening activities are provided. Inquire when you register.
