Your United Way has been helping people in Central and Northern Vancouver Island since 1958. The United Way has evolved from a fundraiser to a community development organization that facilitates collaboration and partnerships. The United Way supports the social service needs of our community by investing in programs and services that help people improve their lives and contribute to a strong and caring community. United Way is committed to making the greatest impact in our community by making a difference in the lives of the people who live here.

In 2010 over $900,000 was raised by the communities of Central and Northern Vancouver Island. The United Way received funding requests for nearly $1.5 million. Each year the goal is to raise enough funding to invest back into the community what it needs to be healthy, safe and vibrant. Your commitment will help United Way reach this goal. Change Starts Here!
