Submitted by Jenn McGarrigle on November 25, 2022 - 3:02pm

Giving Tuesday is a global movement to encourage people to support worthwhile meaningful causes during a season that features holiday sales and consumerism. The VIU Foundation aims to raise $350,000 to support students through initatives like the Give a Meal program and emergency bursary fund.

In honour of Giving Tuesday, I wanted to share my own giving story in the hopes that it inspires others!
