Welcome, Students

I would like to personally welcome you to the world of the MBA/MScIB program. This unique program allows you to obtain two degrees awarded by two quality public universities in two countries (Canada and the UK).  The VIU Business School is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and the program was approved by the Degree Quality Assessment Board of British Columbia's Ministry of Advanced Education. Upon completion of the program, taken entirely on site in Nanaimo, BC, Canada, students will receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Vancouver Island University in Canada and in recognition of this work a Master of Science in International Business (MScIB) degree from the University of Hertfordshire in Britain.

This program will provide you with a strong grounding in management skills in an international context.  You will be studying with fellow students from around the world in a beautiful location by the ocean in Canada.  We are close to Vancouver and its international airport with connections all over North America and around the world.  Professors teaching in the program have work experience in many parts of the world and bring that experience to the classroom.

We will make every effort to make your educational experience a valuable, rewarding, and enjoyable experience from the time you apply until the time you graduate.  You will attend a program that has strong quality controls built into every aspect.  The built in internship/applied project is well resourced to ensure students have work placements.  Graduates will have Canadian work experience to help ease their way in the Canadian job market.
