What will I need to pay?

You need to pay tuition and fees based on your course enrolments as of Monday, May 11 for the May Term and Monday, June 29 for the June Term. See the Finances section of your online student record for a breakdown of your fee assessment.  

When do I need to pay?

  • May term fees are due Monday, May 11.
  • June term fees are due Monday, June 29. 

What if I pay late? 

If you have not paid your fees in full: 

May Term:

  • Tuesday, May 12: a 5% late payment fee will be added to the unpaid balance of your account, and your registration services will be withheld. 
  • Monday, June 15: an additional 5% late payment fee will be added to the unpaid balance of your account. 
  • Friday June 19 (the last day of May Term classes): you will be withdrawn from any future course enrolments. 

 June Term:

  • Tuesday, June 30: a 5% late payment fee will be added to the unpaid balance of your account, and your registration services will be withheld. 
  • Saturday, August 1: an additional 5% late payment fee will be added to the unpaid balance of your account. 
  • Friday August 7 (the last day of June Term classes): you will be withdrawn from any future course enrolments. 

How do I pay?

  • In your My Student Record portal you can access PayMyTuition to pay your tuition.

  • Student sponsorship: please ensure your sponsor emails your sponsorship letter to the Accounts Receivable department (acctsrec@viu.ca) before the first day of the term.
