You need to pay tuition and fees based on your course enrolments as of Monday, January 19 for the Spring semester. See the Finances section of your online student record for a breakdown of your fee assessment.
When do I need to pay?
- Spring Semester fees are due Monday, January 19
What if I pay late?
If you have not paid your Spring Semester fees in full by:
- Tuesday, January 20: a 5% late payment fee will be added to the unpaid balance of your account and your registration services will be withheld.
- Sunday, March 1: an additional 5% late payment fee will be added to the unpaid balance of your account.
- Friday, April 10 (The last day of the Spring Semester classes): you will be withdrawn from any future course enrolments in the Summer Semesters.

Scholarships, Awards, and Bursaries
This year VIU students received over $4.5 million in scholarships, awards and bursaries from the VIU Foundation.
To be considered for this support, make sure your "Scholarship / Award / Bursary Profile" in your student record is up to date and ensure your sponsor emails your sponsorship letter to the Accounts Receivable department (acctsrec@viu.ca) before the first day of the semester.
