Registered VIU students can use this form to request a transfer from their current program into the BA, BSc, BBA programs, or into Exploratory studies, with no application fee required.
To qualify, you must:
- be a currently enrolled VIU student in an academic undergraduate program
- meet all the admission requirements for the new program
- submit your request to transfer no later than 1-week prior to the start of the desired semester
If approved, you will:
- receive a course registration date and time as a continuing student
- be eligible to start at the beginning of the next semester
Note
You will be assessed a tuition deposit for this program change. This tuition deposit will go towards your semester fees and will have the same due date as your fees for the semester.
As this program change may impact the requirements of your student loan, scholarship, sponsorship, or study permit, we strongly recommend you consult the appropriate department (eg. Financial Aid and Awards, your External Scholarship or sponsorship provider, or VIU Immigration Advising) before making this change.
